Home modifications are changes made to living spaces to adapt them for the needs of people with physical limitations.  Home modifications may include making structural changes or adding assistive technology. Examples of modifications include something as small as replacing the knobs on cabinets with pull handles to large projects to widen doorways or installing ramps for wheelchairs.
